My bok choy has a lot if dried up leaves. Is this normal for them? Its not like the leaves were green first then dried. Its still a baby sprout without real leaves. Whatever it was that came up first seemed instantaneously dried. I have 2 others with leaf edging drying- I uploaded those 2. The Bok Choy was like that from the get go. Any ideas? Have you tried a rinse and refill?
The only time I had leaves burn and dry up like that was when my strawberries were intolerant to the AG recommended dose of nutrients.
Have you successfully grown bok choy in the past? If not, maybe you could try a different variety of seed. I have been very successful growing baby bok choy from LeeFan Garden, Panago Seeds.

Since everything else is growing so beautifully, it may well be the variety of seeds.
I also notice some purple. That indicates a phosphorus deficiency unless the plant is supposed to be purple. I have had bok choy turn yellow and purple and die because it needs more nutrients than lettuce and herbs.
However, the phosphorus deficiency develops slowly. The fact that yours turned yellow and crispy and died that young puzzles me.
I'd try different bok choy seeds, as dianne advised.

dianne sherNo- I haven’t grown Bok choy before ever. I was thinking about the nutes- especially since I added CalMag to the Farm for the first time. I used part RO and part distilled water. I am concerned though for the other 2 that have brown leaf edges. The mixed kale and salad greens bar have some drying up. I thought the purple might belong because they are “mixed” varieties. I added a lot of water recently and hopefully that diluted things. Is a rinse and refill simply draining water and putting in fresh? Or is it cleaning out the machine with the hydroponic rinse? The seeds are the standard AG seeds.

I looked at the picture of your bok choi and think you should claim a gardening breakthrough for successfully growing Bok Choi Glitter!
