I used to think the 45W panel of the Bounty in the next room was like sunrise.
Now, I have 3 30W Extras and two 300W panels over my buckets and a half a dozen 20W bulbs in my bedroom. Along with normal room lighting.
When those come on at 4:00 AM, i have no need for an alarm clock.

Harrym I completely agree with you. To the point where even if I’m between gardens and they’re empty, I leave them plugged in because I love the light. Though I live in sunny So Cal, I’m in the foothills so surrounded by trees, so as much as I love the green, it can get a little gloomy. And then there is my declining eyesight, lol.

I LOVE the lights. Although I just have one Aerogarden, I have several of the AG 45 watt led panels. I have noticed that their light improves my mood. I have them on timers and when they come on in the morning, it is the happiest way to wake up!

Sharmo, I am a newbie and have never had the Classic 7, but if yours is several years old, the light switch may have worn out. Hope someone else has a better answer for you.

try a factory reset...you may ave to read the old cfl guides or call them for directions. Here is something:
To Perform a Factory Reset on All AeroGarden Classic 7s
Choose a plant selection (any setting except "Strawberries", "Live Plants", or "Advanced Features") Press and hold the “Select” button for several seconds, until the selection lights begin to circle around. (The grow lights will also go off and come back on.) When the lights begin to circle, immediately release the “Select” button and then quickly press and release the “Reset” button. Do not hold down the "reset" button when the lights begin to circle! If the reset was successful, the selection will move to “Tomatoes/Peppers” and the “Add nutrient” light will flash three times.
Occasionally, especially if the AeroGarden was not plugged into a surge protector, an internal fuse will blow and your AeroGarden will lose all functionality. If the factory reset does not restore your settings, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-476-9669.
