I have several small cherry tomatoes growing well... peppers soon I hope..they will need some support...I am thinking of 24 in wooden dowels taped to the sides of the jars and then use garden wire for support...does this seem like a good approach...

Your pepper stems may thicken up enough to support themselves.
If not, your idea sounds like a good workaround.  |

I agree with Sher. I have yet to have to support my pepper plants but tomatoes yes. Your suggestion sounds like a plan. |
