If you have a tomato you would highly recommend to others, share it here.
From a member:
Red Robin Tomato A very sweet tom which is suitable for an average height machine. I grew these in a Tall machine along side my Red Windowbox Toms. Taste is similar, but skin is a wee bit thicker. Yellow Canary Cherry TomsAd says micro, but they are larger than that. Plant growth: determinate, micro-dwarf Leaf type: rugose regular leaf Time to maturity: very early grew them in a Space Saver 6. Took a bit longer because the SS6 hood is not all that powerful..I would really like to try it in a Bounty, although the plant is a dwarf plant. “Yellow Canary” is a bright and cheerful addition to your sunny window space or a shelf with bright lighting in your home. This micro-dwarf variety tops at about 12 inches when grown in low light; it may reach only 6-8″ when grown in bright light. Yellow Canary sets fruit very early, providing an abundance of fat, light yellow cherries that are bursting with juice. The flavor is good, but mild if the plant is overwatered as the fruits are ripening. This is an open pollinated variety, not to be confused with a hybrid that has the same name. RED WINDOWBOX MICRO DWARF TOM These can be grown in the smallest machine and is an easy first custom tom project.

HEIRLOOM RED TOMATO KIT TALL MACHINES Very SWEET tomatoes if allowed to ripen . I find these do best under a strong light like the Bounty or Ultra, although height is not necessary. It is a very low growing plant and could fit under the hood of a Harvest or SS6Classic. I can't vouch for the low lighting of the Sprout for growth, though. Abundant harvest.

If you have a favorite, why not have it added to the list. Be sure to tell us the name, vendor and a bit about them. I will add it to the list and then remove the original post but you will get credited for the submission

I grew the tomatoes cherry but turned yellow and couldn't get them to turn red what did I do wrong Hello mj11 and welcome to AeroGarden Addicts! Did you grow a kit from AeroGarden? If so, which one? If not, tell us more about the seeds? If you grew sometime from AeroGarden, there are times where folks find something other than what was intended/purchased in the pod! It happens. It may happen at the plant or in shipping, who knows? Just recently, I had a tomato plant take forever for the tomatoes to turn red! So much so, that I thought I had mixed up the seeds. So, maybe yours need more time? Or, maybe the seeds were not those you expected to grow. What model of machine are you using? Not that it makes any difference, just curious. Do you know how to post pictures? I would love to see the set up and the tomatoes too. Again, welcome to AGA!

Aerogarden brand cherry tomatoes grew OK for me in one of my Harvests. They were larger but pretty pale compared to my tiny tim tomatoes. Because of this I've actually thrown out the Aerogarden plant and am growing another tiny tim tomato plant. I'm not sure if it matters, but my relative humidity has been around 15-25%.

Very prolific cherry tomato I am picking about 6 a day. i use these in my salads. The only drawback is the core is somewhat hard no matter how long I let it ripen. I just cut the top of the tom off before tossing in the salad . It is called cherry falls and can be found at many seeds vendors online. Considered a container or hanging basket tomato. My absolute favorite tasting cherry tomato is Sugar baby. These are yellow , thin skin, few seeds but, delicious to just pop in your mouth. I am willing to share these. My neighbor shared these with me several years ago. I save the seeds on paper towels and could mail them off to you. If interested send me a direct message so i can get the details. Bumble bee cherry tomato . A very good looking cherry; and tasty. These are 75 days old so, a long wait for just right toms. Available at many seed vendors and well worth the wait. Not as prolific as cherry falls but the flowers carry on and keep producing. 20231217_174851 by bob

Hi All, I’m new to the forum but not to AG’s. I haven’t tried growing a tomato in the AG in a long time - back when the had CFL bulbs. But I received an AG bounty elite for Christmas and I have a mini tomato plant called Siam that does really well in pots (very compact with loads of tomatoes) and the tomatoes taste good! I thought I’d give it a try in the AG. I don’t know how to post a picture yet.
