I've decided to proceed with my experiment based on this theory. I took three micro clones and should they successfully root, I shall attempt to grow them out as if from seed and see how we do. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

My AG cherry tomatoes always keep growing after they start producing fruit. They're hard to prune, because they produce a thick canopy of leaves that hides both the fruit and the locations of the growing stems.
I've just started a program of clearing out the canopy. This is actually resulting in more new fruit, and the existing fruit grows much larger. Who'd've guessed? I was afraid that clearing the canopy might harm the plant, because the plant is so insistent about those leaves. π
FWIW, my husband and I didn't care for the AG mega cherry tomatoes from the Farm setup. The taste is very bland. The regular cherry tomatoes are much more flavorful.

We were not fond of the AG tomatoes. However there are others from vendors we did like (of the few I grew).
Also, as a side, I like your avatar.

lynnee! I also have found that the more you prune them, the more they just keep on producing.
Isn't it fun?
I have heard others say the mega cherries aren't that great either. I love the little ones, too.
