I started new Swiss chard, romaine and bok choy today. They will get transplanted to totes when they are bigger.

I have a lot of bok choy doublers that need to be split. Yay!
I will split some of them into another Harvest, then when they are a little bigger, move some of them into totes.
The Parris Island is a little slower, but also will have extras.
I didn't even realize the Swiss chard was up, until I lifted up two of the condensation-covered caps and discovered them smashed against the tops. There's another tiny one up just above the sponge. They are notorious for sprouting at different times.

Sher how do you split the seedlings without damaging them? Inquiring minds want to know!

Bok choy, lettuce and Swiss chard that I havent gotten around to transplanting yet. I put the duplicate bok choys into another Harvest, so I have two of those.
The romaine is getting tipburn because it needs calmag.
I did not soak the Swiss chard seeds this time, just the pods, so germination was very spotty.
I have felt in slo-mo lately, so am behind in all my hydro projects.

These all grew huge, and I never got them transplanted. Instead, I have been eating them in salads and they keep outgrowing the Harvests.
I have been dragging my feet on waterproofing the rain tower and getting it planted.
Will start new seeds for it in a seed starter.

The lettuce is starting to bolt, and one bok choy has been so heavily harvested that it has started to decline.
This one has been more lightly harvested and still looks good.

I still have the Harvest full of bok choy pictured above.
But I picked almost all the leaves off the other one that I thought was going downhill. We ended up with a huge bowl of bok choy in a stir fry last night (almost too much) from it.
Plus I did an R&R on the trimmed plants, and it looks like I should get another sizeable harvest from it.
I am surprised by all the food one of these little units can produce.

Healthy looking. I am not a fan of choi, but love looking at it.

The bok choy keeps going and going and going.
I am eating it slower now, mostly for wraps and small salads.

The bok choy is starting to look ratty, but you would not believe how much food I have harvested from the two Harvests.

The bok choy has produced for so long that I am starting to get tired of it. I never thought that could happen.

It 's time to harvest both Harvests of bok choy. It is getting tough. They have had a great run.
