It will be a while before I can do anything with it but it popped up on Facebook Marketplace and the Seller only wanted $100. I bought it for $75.
I need to find some floor space near an outlet.
I tend to suffer from analysis paralysis and could easily wind up overthinking this. If all I really want for starters is tomatoes, where is the best place to get the pods for a reasonable price? How concerned should I be about buying "duds" since I've heard bad things about the AG cherry tomatoes.
Also, can these really hold 12 pods or should I limit it to 4 or 6 so they get enough light?
Thanks,

Congratulations! I have never been a tomato grower and and grew then a few times so I am of no help there. However as for spacing, I would not plant more then two per side as they do bush out and you also need room for airflow. I would wait for other tomato growers to post for your answer

Congratulations on your buy. Be careful on the variety of tomato you buy. Most are too large for an AG. A lot of your cherry tomato plants are OK, but you need to pay attention to the plant height, even on a 3ft. garden.
I've grown 4 AG Heirloom plants on a Farm Plus. You can do it, but it was difficult to get to the one I had in back, and it kept dropping ripe tomatoes off the back side of the garden. I wouldn't recommend more than three cherry tomato plants.
Good luck.
