I am a boomer, yes, but "Bubbler" is really a Boston thing. I just think it's funny.
And, pronounced "Bubblah"

Still getting daily jaw drops from my coworkers on how fast this plant is filling out. It isn't growing vertically (much) anymore, because I keep having to top it to keep it out of the lights.
I brought a Be the Bee in today; it has 3 fully open blossoms and a lot more coming.
With all the topping, it's branching like crazy and is now pretty well filling the area under the hood with the single plant. It's been planted for almost 60 days now.
One cubicle neighbor has already mentioned that it sounds like someone peeing whenever the pump comes on. And I'm still having to top off the reservoir at least every two days.
I'm going to be out of the office Friday-Monday, which means it'll need to go four days without any help. Everyone else in the office also works from home on Friday and will have the Monday holiday off as well, so maybe I'd better bring the Aerovoir in tomorrow. Otherwise, it's likely to go dry over the 4 days I'm out.

I would too. It won’t die, but could compromise such a healthy root system.

Came in this morning after five days out of the office, and found the Aerovoir had drained enough to completely fill a Harvest, so yes, if I hadn't added that, the garden would have gone dry in my absence.
Office mate said it was glugging up a storm yesterday.
Spotted two peppers that have already set. And for some reason, the blossoms on this plant look a lot larger than I'm used to seeing on the AG Jalapeno kit.

I am happy that you had the water system in place. That Jalapeno is a very happy plant.

I bet there will be some AG converts once the peppers kick in!

Those leaves look humongous. Better to absorb the light, my dear.

So, I came in this morning, and the thing gulped down about 4/5 of a gallon over the weekend.
The two tiny little peppers are both over an inch long now, and it looks like another one has set. Also got some pixie dust using the Be the Bee this morning.

It's getting to be standard morning office conversation for everyone to come by to comment on how crazy fast this thing has been growing.
I don't think I've EVER had a jalapeno plant just leap out of the pod like this. May have something to do with the fact that I often find the office to be too warm for me.

It's also a morning chore to trim back everything that grew into the light hood overnight.
Which, of course, is making the top of the plant branch like crazy.
