Well folks, I've decided to change how I photograph my plants from now on. I tried using a black backdrop behind the gardens. You can really see the plants more clearly.  |

The only thing I can think of is that maybe I didn't shake the nutrients bottle when I planted the seeds. The initial yellow leaves made me think they were undernourished. I added a capful (4 ml) of AG Nutrients on two separate occasions and they improved on each occasion. They really took off when I changed the water and gave them full nutrients, including CalliMAGic and KoolBloom.
These days, I'm documenting everything. And taking lots of pics.

mike, the bloom formula does more than I knew. I have had plants whose leaves looked spotty even after adding calmag. But a couple ml of DynaBloom greened them up and brought them to good health. It may have been the extra potassium.
Anyway, this project of yours is fun to follow.

I would love if at some point you could do a write up on how much to use and when to use both Calimag and Kabloom. I am very interested.

I agree, the bloom formula does a lot. However, my first try with it it literally shocked all of the blooms off of the Aji Lemon pepper plants. But I tried full recommended quantity. Since then, I've used 30% of that amount. The GH Liquid KoolBloom I use recommends 3-5 ml per gallon. I used 10 ml in the Farm the first time. Now I use 3 ml for 2 gallons. I am still working with it to determine an optimal volume for the AGs.
I haven't been able to see a noticeable difference in the CALiMAGic since switching from the Mooch. The CALiMAGic in more concentrated. CALiMAGic recommends 5 ml / gallon. The Mooch was 10 ml / gallon.
I like Airscapes idea of making my own. I still have to read up on that more.

Added 24 ml Nutes, 10 ml CALiMAGic, 4 ml Liquid KoolBloom. I really like the new syringe and long needle.

No peppers yet. But I think it will be soon. Today I went in to clear the undergrowth, there was a lot. There have been a lot of changes since the yellow and purple leaves.  |
