Sweet Pickle Peppers (10/18/2021) [TERMINATED]

I started 3 pods of Sweet Pickle Peppers tonight. These are 2 inch peppers with thick walls that are sweet, no heat. They grow on a 12-15"  tall and wide bush that produces a lot of peppers. I plan on growing two of these on the Farm Plus. I may move the 3rd plant to a bounty.

Added 16 ml Nutes.

These are starting to tick me off. I see germination in one pod only. Come on guys, I need two plants, here.

Keep whipping up that mojo, Shawn. A second pod is finally peeking through. For a while I tried to start Jamaican Mushroom peppers here, just in case. I got rid of the third pod. I only wanted two plants, anyway These are supposed to grow into a round 12-15" bush. I think these will be cool. I want fridge pickles with these.

I am not happy here. Th right one is OK, but the yellowing leaves on the left bug me. I added 4ml Nutes.

It looks like you are going to end up with one plant.

I haven't given up on the left plant yet. I've bumped the nutes by 4 ml twice in the last 4 days. I think I see darker green coming back from the veins, we shall see. These are due full nutes and Mooch on Monday. I will dump the water for that.

If I do have to go to one plant, I will move the right plant to an Ultra.

There seems to be new green growth on the seedling. I wonder what would affect only one of two seedlings in the same AG?

It isn't just one. The other plant had some yellowing on the newest leaves, too. It disappeared with the first additional 4 ml of nutes. Today, I added a 3rd 4 ml of nutes addition. I will leave them alone now until Monday when I will change the water and give them full strength nutes and Cal Mag. I think the left one is trying to recover. The green around the veins gets darker every day.

Well, I have no idea where this will end up. The left plant is a real mystery.  The purple and yellow leaves are strange. They are not drying up and brittle. They are not limp. The leaves are still soft and still have a springy texture to them. The purple makes me think of a  phosphorus deficiency. But why this plant only? 

Today is feeding day. After doing a water dump and refill, I gave them 24 ml Nutes, 10 ml CALiMAGic, and 3 ml Liquid KoolBloom. We shall see.

That is really puzzling.  I hope the KoolBloom works.
