Your poblanos look so beautiful, Mike. Mine are producing, but growing slowly. Next time I won't prune to limit height, because that only made the plants want to grow even taller. Mine would probably have benefited from being left alone to do their own thing.

If it holds strong, we have the first Poblano, here.

This is just the start! There are so many wonderful dishes that you can make with poblano peppers. Can't wait to see them grow!

I always have poblanos in the fridge. My last batch of chili was made solely with poblanos.

My Poblanos are looking better overall since I started adding CalMag and KoolBloom. There are three developing peppers (on two plants), but the biggest two (on one plant) seem stalled in their growth. I guess if they start to change color it will mean they've simply gotten as large as they're going to (but small for poblanos). I hope that your little poblano holds, mike.

Me too. There are are two now like that. There are also two more that look like they will drop the blossom tomorrow.

Those are so beautiful, mike! Now why do my Poblanos bloom and leaf out only at the very tops of the plants? They have set some fruit recently, but nothing I do seems to head them back.

I think the Liquid KoolBloom is the key. I'm getting better production than ever.

I think the Liquid KoolBloom is the key. I'm getting better production than ever. Koolbloom seems to be encouraging my eggplants to produce new blooms, and I first read about it in your pepper-growing posts. My Poblanos are holding onto the fruit that sets, too.

I will be adding the Koolbloom to my peppers.... I will add at my next feeding. Now just have to go back and see how much.
