They are off, and hopefully running.
(My bamboo mat was growing mold, so I am temporarily using an afghan to keep lights from reflecting off the glass tabletop and blinding me.)

I do, too! These are supposed to only grow about 8" high, then spread out.
When they start spreading, I will pick the colors I like best, then remove 2 or 3 so they have room to grow.

One is clearly visible. One other pod has 1 little leaf sticking up.
This is exciting!

All 6 pods have germinated in the Harvest Slim.
I got my Aerogardens mixed up. The one pictured above is actually the Fairy Garden Mix.
Still only 2 pods up in it.

I thinned them down to one per pod today.

I had planned to pick the best three of these to keep as they are spreaders. It looks like they are cooperating, because 3 are bigger.

Looks like they are filling out a bit...or the leaves are growing bigger. Sometimes, it is nice to take your time, instead of rushing thru life?

The periwinkles are not making it. They are all turning yellow. I have added calmag, and bloom nutrients to correct a phosphorus deficiency, but they continue to go downhill.
With my impending move, I don't have time to baby them anymore. So I will have to terminate them.

Oh, that's too bad. I can understand the reasoning too.

Too bad about the periwinkles, sher. I wonder what they didn't like about the setup? Next time you try periwinkles, they will probably grow with wild abandon.

I am sorry to hear they are struggling. However you are really busy with your move so I understand the need to terminate. Just htink of all the new gardens you will have when you are in your new place
