As much as I love cucumbers, the plants take up a lot of space - so here is my attempt to keep one small! I tried this once before in a bottle filled with soil, but I think I will be more successful if I try again with hydro. The seeds came from the lemon cucumber plant that I grew outdoors last year - I planted three in an Oasis Foam cube, then thinned it down to one and moved it into an AeroGarden pod. I placed the pod in a 16oz Snapple bottle and filled it with nutrient solution (AG nutes, 6ml/gallon).

It's funny how cucumber plants always look like they're dying when they get their first set of true leaves. Either that, or I've been doing something wrong this whole time and they are barely surviving.

My Mini Munch and Burpee Lemon cukes look like they have Nute Burn--a narrow yellow band around the edges of the leaves. However, other photos here show cuke leaves that look exactly the same, so I'm going to assume for now that the plants just don't care much about their appearance.

That lemon cuke is looking great! Amazing that you're doing it in a Kratky setup.

Ended this today - the plant started to dry out for some reason, and even a R&R did not seem to help.
