I'm starting on the last of my AG Nutrients.
I've been following the AG recommendations as to the amount used plus a little CALiMAGic, and I've been happy with the results.
Are there any better options as to a AG nutrient replacement or should I just order more of the AG nutrient?
tnx

I was going to try the GH (General Hydroponics) but the mixing and measuring was too much for me at that time. Maybe one day b ut not today.

golddustpeak, I have used many different nutrients. For a while I used Masterblend, which is good and much cheaper, but is a royal pain to weigh and mix.
I always return to AG nutrients. With a little supplementing with a bloom booster and calmag on certain plants, the AG nutrients are superb on a wide range of plants.
I don't know if you follow Khang Starr's hydroponics on YouTube or not. He used to use all different kinds of nutrients. Now he has switched exclusively to AG nutrients. He is a master at hydroponics, so that says a lot.
I just wish the AG nutrients were not so expensive.

If what you have been doing is giving you the results you want, do not change what you are doing. I use a system that is used in commercial farms (don't own an actual AG machine just DIY versions). It works well but requires a lot more work than the AG nutrient as it is 3 parts (dry) and mixed by the gallon. It also has no PH buffers so you have to constantly check and adjust PH, requiring Down and a really good PH meter. I visited my local Hydroponics store prior to buying from Hydro-Garden tomato formula and it seemed like all the stuff the store sold was for the high value home grower market, but the owner would not admit to that..

golddustpeak, I've always used the AG nutrients, with excellent results. One of the reasons why I've never switched is that it's a MiracleGro product. The MiracleGro fertilizers work better for me than anything else, whether it's BloomBuilder for the brugmansia, All-Purpose for raised-bed tomatoes, or just potting soil with included fertilizer for transplanted flowers. I've just started adding some KoolBloom and CalMag+ to my AGs, but only to supplement the AG nutes for veggies.

Sounds like I'll be reordering the AG neuts.
Thanks all.
