I just learned about this fruit. Is this something that could be planted and enjoyed throughout the winter. I know nothing about this plant. For all I know it could grow too big. Aerogardening is new to me I am planting my first AeroGarden today. It was a question that my son presented to me because he enjoys this fruit. Looking forward to the AeroGarden growing experience.

I have never grown it however one of our members tried in a barrel outdoors. I am sure he may be able to assist with your question.

Yes, ERR0R1755 has grown them. I remember seeing pictures of his indoor project.
If I remember correctly, it did get pretty big.

I did try growing it indoors as well, and it far outgrew my Harvest:

I currently have 2 in a Bounty. The lights are at 22" high and the ground cherries are an inch from the top. I had to prune as it is still growing slower vertically while fruiting.
