Fairytale Eggplant in a Harvest

This guy successfully grew two Fairytale Eggplants in a Harvest. I would not have believed it possible!

The Fairy Tale eggplants don't have an extensive root system, but it's still amazing! AG sells Fairy Tale eggplant kits for Bounties, which I would have thought was pushing it.

He pruned the plants rather severely, lost a lot of blooms, and mentioned that the plants were stressed from having so many eggplants. Did he say anything about what nutrients he used? (I skipped through the video to see his mature plants and harvests.)

My two eggplants are at 181 days, and have produced a lot of eggplants with less bloom drop, so I think they appreciate the extra space in the 12-pod deck and grow bowl. They haven't needed very much vertical space.

I harvest my eggplants sooner than he does, except for the ones that get lost underneath the foliage!

He only got 33 eggplants from the two plants in around 177 days if I remember correctly.

And I think he used Aerogarden nutrients. Like you, I was more interested in seeing how big they got and how much they produced.

I have a watched a few of his shows. I don't think he owns a Bounty. That's why it impressed me as a heroic try.

Something I forget, because my AGs are mostly Bounties or Farms, is that the Harvest has only a 20-watt LED light. No wonder his eggplants took longer than mine! He is amazing!
