Both of my Gypsies grew very tall and leggy, so I pinched the growing tip out of both of them to force them to branch out. (I hope.)
I transplanted one into the Bounty with the Mocha Swirl. I didn't have a tall machine for the other one, so I planted it in coco coir using AG nutrients. I buried it deeper in the pot to help make up for its excessive legginess.
The pot of coco coir is in the Harvest 360 that I accidentally left the bowl for in GA. I expect it to grow slower, but it will also spread out the harvest -- if they produce one!

Very nice repurposing of the Harvest 360, Sher!

I'm not sure if the pepper in coco coir looks better than the one in the AG or not. It has a better shape because it spread out more and did not need the severe pruning that the big leaves in the Bounty did.
I had to raise the lights for the Mocha Swirl, so we will see how the one in the Bounty does.

It's funny the way different peppers grow. These are tall and lanky with the buds mostly near the top.

The Gypsies are starting to take off.
The first one is in a Bounty. The second one is the one in a pot with coco coir under a Harvest 360 light. (I repotted it into a prettier pot.)

Those plants really are going well now! I can see lots of little peppers near the top of the plant in the Bounty. The Bounty pepper doesn't seem to mind your hard water?

I am diligently monitoring the water and the nutrients, adding 1 T hydrogen peroxide to the Bountys weekly (sometimes more) and 1-1/2 t. to each Harvest. Also, the plants require stronger nutes and more supplements than recommended or else they show signs of malnutrition. It seems to have made a big difference in pythium growing. I still do R&RS every 2 weeks. There is always a very heavy of sediment in the bowls, but it is not the rotten brown stuff. I still want to get the RO filter and mix that water with mine. Then maybe I can get a handle on how much of which nutes they need instead if having to wildly guess and hope for the best.

The Gypsies aren't as prolific as the Mocha Swirls, but they are coming along.

I plan to make a chicken salad today that calls for bell peppers. I think I'll substitute one or two of these since they are close enough to ready. (I hope.)

The Gypsies have some peppers that are ripening. I have already eaten 3, and will start using these in cooking.
