I'm having a problem with my farm plus. The light on the left hand side won't raise or lower.
It's currently sitting at the lowest setting and won't go up. I had a similar problem with it when I first got it, it was stuck completely raised, and after unplugging it and plugging it back in several times, it started to work. This time though, that doesn't seem to fix it.
The right hand side is working just fine. Any suggestions before I call AeroGarden support on Tuesday?

Hello and Welcome!
I am sorry to hear you are having a problem with the Farm. I know a couple others had some issues and called AG CS and received a new unit and returned the old. One member actually only replaced the faulty part as not to have to pack it all up. I myself do not own a Farm so I am unable to assist.
However I am sure other members that do own one will post when they come on the forum throughout the day or tomorrow as it is a holiday eve.
I am sure you have but I will ask anyway. Are all the connections tightly connected? nothing in the way of the areas in which it lowers and goes up?

Thanks for the reply. There isn't anything to connect, as the motors that raise and lower it are completely inside the hood.
Seems like I'll be calling them on Tuesday,.

If all the controls are in the hood, then if they send you a replacement unit, I suggest just unpacking the hood and trying that. If it works, wait a few days and pack the defective hood up and send the unit back. That will be a lot easier then taking it ALL apart and putting it in a box. (So I have been told by drbanks)

It is my generally unwanted opinion that the electrical connections in the hood/top piece are flakey to the extreme.
AG was fairly quick in sending me a replacement (actually sent an entirely new unit with a return label).

I know it's been years for this thread, but could someone link me up with whoever replaced their part? I bought a malfunctioned farm xl with this problem. I can hear the motor inside the hood trying to work but just doesn't. I wanna open it up but would rather watch someone do it first or have some kind of detailed walkthrough
