Your plant has more peppers than mine, I think, areyoukittenme! It goes to show that pruning the excess foliage really boosts production on peppers and tomatoes. Makes 'em focus on the job at hand!

That's right, lynnee! Gotta keep those plants on-task.
Nothing too monumental today, just an R&R. 8 mg Aerogarden nutrients, 2 mg calmag, 1 tsp hydrogen peroxide, like I've been doing all along. Oh, and a little bit of pruning for a few branches that had made their way past the edge of the light.
I've noticed a few dropped flowers that had little tiny baby peppers starting to form, so I wonder if this plant has reached its capacity and doesn't want to set any more fruit? It's certainly working on enough of them! The peppers are getting bigger, but I don't see any ripening yet. That's alright, I'm in no hurry.

Just a quick update - today was feeding day so the pepper plant got more AG nutrients, more calmag and more hydrogen peroxide. Still no sign of fruits ripening, but the plant seems happy enough so we'll keep on going!

Shawn lynnee We tried one of the peppers today! I picked the one that had turned red first, figuring it must be the ripest, and cut it in half, removing stems and seeds. My partner said she could taste a little bit of heat in it, but to me it tastes just like a nice, ripe bell pepper I eat a lot of spicy food though, so maybe it's just too little for me to detect! I'm going to enjoy using these in some stir-fries and pasta dishes.

What you describe is how most of my Sweet Heats taste, areyoukittenme. However, yesterday I harvested another 9 Sweet Heats that had been fully red for a couple of weeks, and one was very pleasantly hot! I guess that they can vary quite a bit in their heat. I was going to terminate the garden, but my husband loved the hot pepper. They have blooms, so I did an R&R and left them to produce another crop.
