SO... my gazania is in an AG that is in a room with very little natural light. AG lighting is overpowering and on for 15 hours a day. The gazania flower is one of those that close up at night and opens in the morning.
We noticed that these are closing and opening with the sunset and sunrise NOT the aerogarden light cycle...
Amazing!, how do it know???

While I don't have an answer for you, I will say that mine did the same thing. They kind of anticipated the sunset though. Starting to close around 3PM, if I remember correctly. Yours are beautiful! Makes me want to grow them again! Thanks for sharing.
