FINALLY... planted my peppers.
The back left is Blot Peppers. The Blot pepper comes to us from Eastern Europe close to Russia. It is called Klyaksa which means Blur or Blot in the Russian language. It has this name for the colorful blotches of burnt orange and purple that appear on the Blot chile. The plants produce average bell pepper size peppers. They are extremely sweet, juicy and crunchy with no heat at all. The Blot peppers are great for sauces, stuffing, roasting, pickling and salads. The Blot chile plants grow just over 2 feet tall and are very productive.
The front right is Romanian Sweet. Also called Antohi Romanian because a man named Jan Antohi defected in 1991 from his home in Romania and brought the seeds to the United States. Sweet and full flavored matures from yellow to blush orange to bright red. Once fruit starts getting orange it can be picked. Stake plants because fruits are heavy. Especially if you leave fruits on until they turn red. Favored for frying with garlic cloves and olive oil. But delicious stuffed or in salads! The Romanian Sweet chile plants grow just over 2 feet tall.

You and me both. I always try new peppers and these are two of the new ones I purchased. Hoping for a good grow this time around.

Aw, too bad. I think that my Sweet Apple Kambe pods that haven't sprouted are done, too.

Sorry they didn't work out. They didn't germinate for me the first try.

Sorry they didn't work out. They didn't germinate for me the first try. Three germinated on my first try (with 6 pods), but I had to discard the 3 seedlings when I got home after my meningitis episode. They had been without nutrients for too long. I started again with 4 pods, and have one seedling. So things are working out reasonably well. I started another pod, too, because there's plenty of room in the Bounty.
