Do they typically contain more than 1 seed per pod? I ask becuase it appears THREE sprouted in the one pod:

Yes, there are usually 3 or 4. Once they are about 1" to 1-1/2" in height, you keep the best looking one.

Thank you ... i knew the herbs had multiple seeds per pod, but wasnt sure about the peppers or tomatoes ... I’ll keep the best once they get to that height then!

To ensure germination they put more then one seed in.

I usually do the same for my own seeds. Some peppers are so difficult to germinate that I can use all the help I can get.
