Bounty with Grow Bowl - strawberries now planted for one month. The strawberry plants are doing great, they seem healthy and have quite a few berries on them. The other thing is there are 6 shoots or runners coming from the plants that are now about 8" long. Do I need to do anything with them? Can they be cut off? Are they taking away from the plants? Thank you for your help. Tim

You'll want to cut those off since you don't want more strawberry plants in the bowl. If you have another spot you want to grow strawberries, let the leaves open before you cut them and then stick them in water. They'll start to root out pretty quickly.
