I ordered several items on Nov. 23. The garden, liquid food, and seed starter kit arrived, but the custom seed pod kits were missing. I have tried to contact AeroGarden by chat/tracking page, but they either can't find the order or declare it shipped. The customer service phone number doesn't work -- it just sends me back to the chat. I want to contact a real person who can review the details of my order.

I'd say keep trying chat, give them the order number, tell them what happened, and with luck, you'll get your custom seed pod kit. It may just be a matter of getting the right person who is willing to help. FWIW, I got a sale Harvest Elite Slim from Woot.com that arrived without a seed pod kit. It was replaced by Aerogarden CS. It's possible it will be a bit more complicated with a custom seed pod kit, but if you get a decent CS person, and can put in the chat window what you ordered, with luck, they'll make it right. No guarantees though.

Post your problem on their Facebook page or Instagram. They respond pretty fast on social media to avoid "negative press." Good luck.

Similar problem -- Ordered a siphon and three custom seed packages, and only the siphon and one of the seed packages showed up. And I'm pretty sure the little black things in the bottom of the seed pod box are chive seeds.
Plus, the order took forever -- six days to get from Mexico, Missouri, to NE Kansas.
And this is not the only order they have screwed up. I ordered some tall plant seed pods -- eggplant and 3 tall peppers -- and two of the these showed up broken open in the shipping box. They didn't pad it or tape the seed pod boxes shut. These were premium priced seeds, and I expected better service. The banana peppers still haven't sprouted.
In short, I have not been impressed with Aerogarden customer service. I have one order outstanding, plus the above order that is missing half of its items. If anything goes awry with either of these, I'll be done ordering from Aerogarden corporate. I can get most of the same stuff through Amazon, and I can get it faster, better packaged and, most importantly, complete.
And you folks have taught me enough to know that I don't need their seed pods any more. I can buy third party pods by the gross and and some three-dollar packages of seeds, and it will be cheaper than a six-pack of Aerogarden seed pods.
This is your last chance, Aerogarden. One of my outstanding orders is a gift, and if anything goes wrong with it, we're done.

I've been done with Aerogarden for some time now. I only go to Aerogarden when they have a great sale. Even then, Amazon for prime customers frequently beats the AG sale price. I buy supplies and consumables from Amazon and most of my seeds from Etsy sellers and a couple of online sources that I've had good luck with.

Here's a little AeroGarden tidbit I figured out just now -- The return address on my incomplete shipment was -- AeroGarden International 2201 Lakeview Rd Mexico, Missouri 65265 So I plugged that address into maps.google and found that 2201 Lakeview Rd, Mexico, MO, does not show up as AeroGarden, International. It's a big warehouse listed as 'Abacus Logistics 3PL'. And Abacus Logistics 3PL has a website -- www.abacus3pl.com/And who, pray tell, is Abacus Logistics 3PL, I hear you all asking Well, let's look at their website -- In other words, they are a third-party fulfillment center. AeroGarden has subcontracted their order fulfillment to Abacus Logistics 3PL. That explains a lot. It is centrally located in the US, just 3 hours 12 minutes from my house, and it still took 6 days to get to me.

I guess I've been lucky, but I order a lot from Aerogarden and have not had any issues. Most larger companies contract their warehousing/logistics so that's not surprising. I imagine that all the sales plus the holiday "rush" of shopping has put a stress on the shipper so things are going to go wrong occasionally. Hopefully AG will step up and have the orders made right for customers ASAP.

One of my outstanding orders is a gift, and if anything goes wrong with it, we're done. Actually, just save the pods from your existing kits/gardens. I pop the pods/grow baskets in a bowl with water, add a TBSP of bleach to sanitize for a bit (you could also use straight vinegar), rinse well, let dry, and reuse. Same for grow domes, spacers, and also the TPU pod covers I got on Etsy. When not in use, I bag supplies up in Ziploc freezer bags to make sure they stay clean. There are lots of seeds in the world to try and it's fun to try them! Though non-AG seeds aren't always a success, but that's how we learn.

All my stuff has come from Mexico, MO, and the shipping issues have been the fault of a local FedEx distribution point in San Leandro, CA. AG baskets go through the dishwasher without issues, as do pod covers, pumps, and pump filters. I do the assembled pumps (with cords) on the top rack, or take the pumps apart and do the pieces in the silverware basket.

My experience with AG, too. I haven't ordered from them recently, though, because I have everything! Haha. I always think "OK, I'm DONE." So foolish. I seem to always be able to find something during the sales. Today I ordered another of the bamboo shelf units and the coordinating drawer. I will probably have to start removing actual furniture from the house soon to fit the AG stuff.

There was NO place to set it up, and I just paid someone to haul it away (along with some other stuff).

This will be my 3rd one, along with the Scarfguy Farm garment rack!! I find them convenient except for the top shelf, which is too high for my short self to deal with. So I keep "random bits" up there.

Update -- After an evening of back and forth emails with AG customer service, in which they sent at least 3 form emails, the rest of my incomplete order was finally shipped, and I received the rest of my order just a few minutes ago.
But it shouldn't be this hard.
Jury is still out on my final outstanding order, but they did at least get it shipped yesterday. Should arrive by Wednesday. We shall see.
I suspect I got the special squeaky wheel customer service.
