I just noticed this looking a little fuzzy. So weird. Can it be mold? It’s only on this pod. Where it says thyme.

I don't see anything unusual. If it were mold it would be white and fuzzy on the sponge. Are you talking about the creases in the wet cardboard? If you are really concerned and you have some peroxide you can just wipe off the cardboard with some and dab the sponge as well. I would also just simply remove the cardboard and see what happens just washing off the cardboard on both sides with some Dawn Dish Liquid and water. I really cant see anything though. Maybe it is my eyes.

I do not see anything either but that is not to say nothing is there., As Corinne said, use a qtip with some peroxide and gently wipe it off.

It’s between the y and the m. And there light brown discoloration there as well. It probably doesn’t matter much anyhow. I ordered some herbs and peppers from Baker Seeds and a grow anything kit. I’ll be replacing the thyme immediately when they arrive.

I see it. I would either wipe it as recommended, or take the whole thing off. If you’re really concerned I would take it off because, being on one of the slits, it’s probably forming underneath as well. I don’t iron my covers down anymore so I can have more flexibility with them.

I don’t iron my covers down anymore so I can have more flexibility with them. I ended up replacing the whole thing with a few thyme seeds I got from Baker Seeds and used the grow anything pods. I also did not iron the labels on, but did find them a little unwieldy when trying to get the domes on.

I never iron them on. I just place them on top. Also I find the labels are too large so I trim them to size.

Be sure to save your basket and cover for future use - just give it a good wash with hot soapy water.
