...so I terminated all Aerogardens due to aphids a while back. It was a bit of a shock and my Aerogardens have been empty since. As fall and winter approach I think about getting my Aerogardens ready for new planting. Off season fresh produce is something to enjoy.

I look forward to see what you have growing for this winter indoor season tompepper7 . I had to remove my last 2 tomato plants today because I couldn't rid my gardens of gnats. The only thing I have going indoors now is one two week old salad garden. I also look forward to a fresh clean start.

The only thing I have going indoors now is one two week old salad garden. I also look forward to a fresh clean start. These Katchy traps are very good at catching gnats. They kept the gnats in my strawberries under control. What they couldn't handle was a colony that had established itself in the russet potato bin. Once I found and removed that, the Katchy picked off the remaining strays. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H2JGSM6/

I have a couple of the Katchy traps and second their usefulness.

After clicking the link for the Katchy trap I see it has the sticky pads. I have a dynatrap on a timer that's great at getting anything bigger than gnats. So I ordered some sticky bits and will try to get these in the catchment. Thx for the link and conformation lynnee and tompepper7 . Hopefully this will work. If not I buy a Katchy. Dynatrap www.amazon.com/DynaTrap%C2%AE-Quarter-Insect-Mosquito-Tungsten/dp/B07NNTDXSB?th=1EDIT a few days later I received the sticky bits from Amazon and they fit pufectlyyyyyyyy . I shall see how they do.

I'm with you, Tom. I've been taking a well-deserved AG hiatus for a few months; I played with outdoor gardens for a while and then just took a break from all of it. I have ONE Harvest XL in my breakfast nook with a heritage cherry tomato plant and two pods of green onions that has been going for months and still producing like a trooper. Honestly it has been a nice break to not have the dining room full of active gardens.
I need to drag out my seeds and see what I want to crank up the AGs for. I'll probably start with lettuces and a couple of cucumber varieties.

I have to admit, I have not planted anyth9ing in a while except some herbs. Things here are crazy ... but I am planning on planting more herbs and peppers this weekend. I even put it on my To Do List.

Soon I will start some more lettuce. My "Tennis Ball" lettuce was a disappointment. It decided to grow tall, rather than round like a ball. Apparently that is true of lettuce grown in an AG. At least that's what the official "Tips for Tending to Lettuce" says. aerogarden.com/growing/tips-for-tending-to-lettuce.htmlStill, I'm going to try again, as soon as the Merlot that I started today is big enough to supply sandwich lettuce.
