I got the 60% off coupon, too. I bought 4 more jugs of nutes and a box of seed pods.
I never even received an email
I didn't either, but I never signed up for their propaganda emails, so probably not on their mailing list.

If you have had chicken pox -- and we've all had chicken pox because if one kid got it, our mothers got us all together for a chicken pox party so all the kids in the neighborhood would 'get it over with' at once -- if you've had chicken pox, you will get shingles at some point if you don't get the shingles vaccine. The only question will be how bad will it be, which translates to '(1) How much will it hurt; (2) Will I go blind: and (3) Can I die?' (Answers -- (1) lots; (2) maybe; and (3) yes.) And that is something you do not want to gamble on. Shingles is also something that can re-occur, so even if you've had it . . . See where I'm going? This has been a Public Service Message from Chez Clovis. You could not be more correct Clovis Sangrail I had chickenpox as a kid. Twice. Odd, I know. But it happens. I also had shingles twice. When I was in my 20's, which wasn't too bad. But this time... I don't have words to describe it. And I had complications too gnarly to post here. Still having pain. [kicking myself for not getting the dang vaccine when I should have]Iam the other Odd one. I also had chicken pox twice as a child

If you click on some of the items, it just shows the 60% off. I did this in an incognito tab, so it doesn't know me -

Good reminder. I've had "a" shingles vaccine, but there is apparently a more up-to-date one, and I need to get that.

And that is something you do not want to gamble on. Shingles is also something that can re-occur, so even if you've had it . . . See where I'm going? This has been a Public Service Message from Chez Clovis. Husband got Shingles, and it was no fun, as you say! I've had the Shingrix shots (it takes two). The second one was worse than the early COVID shots, but I'd do it over again regardless. The second one wasn't that terrible, but I wish I'd known about the issue in advance, so that I could've planned to be under the weather the day after. Yesterday I got the latest COVID shot, a high-dose flu shot, and an RSV shot. Boy did I have muscle aches this morning! All is back to normal this afternoon. I now have to wait a few months to get the vaccine. But I will. Now I'm worried though about the Shingrix, as I got extremely ill from the COVID shots. So much so, they advised me not to get the third one. So I never did. I thought about getting the latest one but hubby said "No." My husband who never forbids me from doing anything, has forbidden me from even trying to get one again because of the risks involved. So, I hope the Shingrix doesn't do the same thing. If I got all three of those on the same day I'd definitely be in the hospital. I'm not at the age for the RSV vaccine quite yet. Plus, I had it about 15 years ago; spent seven days in the hospital because of it. Not fun. Glad there's a vaccine for it now.

Good reminder. I've had "a" shingles vaccine, but there is apparently a more up-to-date one, and I need to get that. The Zostavax (the first one) isn't even available any longer due to it's ineffectiveness at preventing shingles. If I remember correctly, without Googling it, it only has about a 30% effectiveness while Shingrix (again, calling upon my retired medical brain) is more like 90+% effective. Good stuff!

I'm tired of sinking time and money into Aerogarden. It was great for a few harvests, and then I was unable to replicate my early successes. I'll try seeing if a new pump makes a difference. If not, into the trash they go. Please don't throw the Bounty's away I will gladly cover shipping costs if and when you are truly done with them. I have had a few bad runs growing various things also but with all the knowledge here at this forum I am convinced you can get back to more consistent growing from your AG"s. Ask away that is what this forum is here for, Successes and failures ....... I still have one Bounty that works, that I use for flowers. It’s the two Bounties I used for herbs that have turned into death machines for anything I plant. It’s been more than a few bad runs, it’s been two years of constant and near complete failures. I have a cheaper brand that is working fine, so it’s not the water or the nutrients or the sponges or the temperature, etc. . I’ve followed all the advice I’ve received here - at this point all I can think of is that there is some pathogen somewhere in the units that disinfectants aren’t reaching. You don’t want these. I am sad that I missed the closing sale on the XL Farms.

I am sad that I missed the closing sale on the XL Farms. That's so sad they got infected. I wonder what it could be? I've not had any nasty diseases as of yet in my indoor gardens (knock on wood). But I am a germaphobe, so I am a meticulous cleaner/disinfect-er of everything in the house. . . Except the cats. There aren't enough bandaids on the planet for that. All my gardens (and all accessories) get a soaking in a very diluted bleach solution first (and run the pumps in the solution). Then I use diluted vinegar soaks to remove the hard water deposits (pumps running). I take the pumps apart and clean every nook and cranny. Then I let the gardens sit for a couple of days to make sure they are nice and dry before planting again. Not sure if all that is necessary, but my paranoid-of-bugs brain feels better with my system.

I stocked up on some AeroGarden Grow Anything Seed Pod kits from Amazon. I bought the 50-pod kits, but Amazon has all sizes in stock except the 25-pod. The 50-pod kits were $34.03. which is 68 cents a pod. If you check the 'Other sellers on Amazon', you'll see the price-gougers are already at work. I cannot tell if they are in stock with AG, nor can I determine what the price might be if they do have them because the little spinny circles just turn and turn and turn and turn when I try to bring the Grow Anything kits up on the AG site.

I'd try that, then a vinegar soak, then put all of it outside in the sun for a few hours. Reassemble with new filter sponges. I hate the thought of giving up on them!!

Same thing happened to me with the Aerogarden grow anything kits. Judging by the price of the 25 pod kit, I figured Amazon was probably a better price when I was shopping the 30% off. Tried again with my 60% off coupon and got the same spinning wheel. Ordered the 50 pod kit from Amazon. It has shipped and is arriving Monday!

I used my 60% off coupon on the AG site and got six of the 50 pack sponges for $8 each, two of the 50 pack baskets (I sterilize and reuse them) for $7.58 each and six of the liter nutrients for $13.98 each. I tried getting the seed pod kits but they were out (they were out of the labels too). I just checked their site and they are out of almost everything. No Harvest XL's, Farms, and there are only a few variations of Bounty models left. Nearly all the seed kits are sold out, pumps, and several other items are also out. They said whatever is on Amazon is all they have as well, so once it's gone, it's gone.

I know this is a long shot but does anyone have a 60% off coupon they aren’t going to use? I decided now that I ordered 2 more bounty’s I really need that bamboo wall shelf to put them on! 😂. I tried using my original coupon again but got a message that said no no. You already used this!

I know it's a long shot, but you could try chatting with them and ask if you could use it again today because you forgot to buy those items. They've been quite helpful to me and even were willing to let me apply the coupon to the order I made the day before I got the coupon - it was 'use the coupon on that order' -or- 'use it on a new order'. I picked 'new order' because I decided I wanted more items. Worth a try.

I'm wondering if we will get the stuff we've ordered. I know they have been bombarded with orders for the past several days but nothing I've ordered has shipped. I got a notification of some items being sold out and a refund on those, but still nothing has shipped.

AG hasn't had the best track record at timely shipping these last few years but, I always got my nutes n stuff sometimes even quickly. So I bet you will get your stuff as I am hoping I get my nutes and various other things too..I would much rather get what I ordered than a refund fingers crossed.

I don't have a strategy. I have already purchased a few pumps. I already buy off brand sponges, baskets, and labels. I already use 75% or more non Aerogarden seeds. The email I noticed about this seemed to say the Aerogarden website was going away but Aerogarden on Amazon would remain. Not entirely sure what that means. A corporate thing of reducing expenses by getting rid of the maintained website while still producing Aerogarden products to be sold on Amazon? Hmmm...

I tried the chat the other day and never could get past the chat bot who kept saying they didn’t understand what I was saying! I finally just left.

From their website... " To purchase our products prior to closing, you have two options:
Aerogarden.com. Products will be available for purchase through October 7, 2024. You may access your account and its history through March 1, 2026. Our products will continue to be available on Amazon through the end of the year."
Since tomorrow is October 7, the party is just about over for their website.
