UPS brought me 4 boxes a Thursday! 2 are my Bounty Elites. Haven’t been able to open them yet since I hurt my shoulder on Wednesday! Going to attempt it today and make sure everything is there! I am hoping the other 2 boxes are my Fall30 order and the rest of my 60 off order. Sorry you hurt your shoulder. Pain free wishes coming your way. I also received my order. I am not sure if it was just coincidence that I emailed them about my in-progress status and, the order showing up 2 days later. Just happy it's here and I have years worth of nutrients to hold me over.

My first order, placed on the first day of AGs discount offers, arrived today. It arrived from "UPS Worldwide Forwarding", and doesn't have a tracking history prior to arrival at my local mail delivery hub. Weird. No doubt the result of AGs being overwhelmed by orders. I still have another order on the way. This was placed at the time some of you received the 60% off coupons.

I have received all of my "going out of biz" orders from AG. Surprisingly they did not come from Mexico but from somewhere in Illinois this time. I have 8 liters of AG nutes and a ton of supplies so I should be good to go for a while.
I have one more Bounty Elite coming tomorrow from Amazon and that will be it. I received the Woot Bounty Basic yesterday and this was the UPS delivery photo. Kind of appropriate for October, huh?

I couldn't resist picking up another Harvest Elite 360 as open box off eBay for $62.38 shipped. They are just the right size to occupy space between either Harvest Slims or Bountys on my 4-foot tables. Hopefully it arrives without damage.
Retail therapy ... and I'm still curious about the AHopeGarden transparent bowl units, though where I'd put one... I don't plan to do anything in that regard unless I see a whopping good sale.

Wouldn't those produce a lot of algae with a transparent bottom?

I've been using one for many months now and have had zero algae issues.

Wouldn't those produce a lot of algae with a transparent bottom? The tank is actually tinted a smoky color; it's not clear. I never had any algae in mine.

Just got the email.... My shipments are on the way! I ordered a lot so it's three different shipments. It looks like everything I ordered will be shipped. I had reached out to them a couple of days ago, because it seemed that those who did, ended up getting shipping notices quicker. And it worked!

I bought some gardens as did many other people here. As pfunnyjoy pointed out it would be a smart thing to do a grow or, at least check functionality out of each garden purchased while there is still a warranty. Issues can be solved. The units I purchased I removed the seed pod kits and put the gardens in storage. I have never had a doa AG. With that said is everyone planning on testing there new AG's while something can still be done if a problem arises or, going to keep in original package and open it up when it is needed ? Or 3rd option. I took down my only open garden and next R n R of that grow area I will move things around. I plan on at least a 2 week run of each of the new gardens. With the amount of gardens that were sent out these last couple months there is bound to be some duds.

LoveSalads, it's a good idea to test the new AGs, I agree! I'm skipping that this time, though, because I'm so short on time that I'm neglecting my mature gardens. I've had only one garden with a serious problem, and that was a Farm Plus with a failed pump controller. The whole top part with all the electronics required replacement. I've never figured out how to test this part without assembling the whole thing. Whenever my AGs have had problems, it has taken a month or two of operation for for the problems to surface. So I would recommend growing at least one crop of something if you're testing.

Something to keep in mind -- These things are likely to be like action figures -- Down the road, when they get in short supply, 'mint in box' will bring more than 'opened and played with'.
That's why mine are under the bed. Because I know how my attention span can be. So far, so good with AGs, but I just cleaned out a closet and donated about 600 bucks worth of Estes model rockets to 4-H rocketry. And then there's the drawer full of Irish whistles and harmonicas. And before all of those -- aquariums. (But thankfully, no Beanie Babies.)
So they are staying in the boxes just in case. And there is one thing that these gardens have going for them that other interests have not had -- They produce food.
Got to go now. Been reading about apiaries.

I did open my new gardens and tested the pumps and lights. Then I dried them out and packed them back in the boxes. I'd rather know right away if they are duds so I can exchange or get my money refunded. I have always done this, even before they were going out of business... I just like to know that things work even if I'm not using them right away.

I finally got all of my items ordered during the 'OMGAerogardenIsGoingOutOfBusiness' panic-buying days. Bounty x1, Harvest XL x3, Sprout x2, Sprout pump x1, No spill jug x1, Nutrients x8, Pump filters x30, Grow baskets x100, Grow sponges x400
Now to make sure everything is intact and make sure the gardens work. This might take awhile....

Make me stop! Thought about ordering another Harvest Elite to go in my kitchen with the other one for microgreens on the Fall30 coupon, talked myself out of it. Then yesterday, I bought an open box unit on eBay for $60 shipped, and ordered the microgreens kit on Amazon. I swear this must be the last garden purchase! I blame hubby. He brought home a nasty cold and gave it to me so I was sick as a dog for our wedding anniversary. Then, when he came home from work yesterday, I asked if he'd brought me a treat, 'cause, Halloween? He hadn't. I was feeling weak. The "trick" is on him now! On the plus side, as things get gloomier for the long winter, he will enjoy the extra light from the AG units.

He doesn't usually venture into either my office or the grow room, and both are kept shut because of the cats, but sooner or later he'll realize just how many of these dang gardens I have!

When I was ordering I kept saying "Hmm... this might be too much... what do you think?" He'd just say "Well, it's your last chance and it's a good price, right?" So I did, technically, warn him. When it arrived he just said "Nice!" I love that man. Of course, he suspected I purchased a few gardens when Amazon Prime Day resulted in: a shelf unit (same as for my other gardens), a UPS, storage drawers, storage boxes and power strips, etc. So. Yeah. I wasn't subtle. I'll share my new setup once I figure out the configuration and test the new gardens.

After I posted that link to a sunburst Les Paul in this very discussion thread earlier this month, I started getting random internet ads from guitar stores for restored 1950s custom Les Pauls with prices in the low to mid 6 figures. Edited to add: This one.
