I planted a bounty full of violas a little over a month ago. Got my first flower today.
I've grown these a couple of times before. They are really slow to germinate and even slower to grow. Once started, they do bloom for quite a long time.
I am always in awe of Mother Nature. To take just water, oxygen, and chemical salts and create such wonderful, brilliant colors and complex designs is simply miraculous.

Those are gorgeous. Do you have a link for the seeds you used?

They came from an Etsy seller:
They have a ton of flower seeds. This one came from one of their "mixes".

I really ought to try one garden with flowers. I love Violas and Pansies, that sounds like it will be a very pretty garden. A month doesn't sound too bad from seed.

For the last couple of years, I always dedicate one AG for a bouquet of flowers.
It just brightens your day to have living beauty in your home. I come down the steps in the morning and always get a smile on my face when I notice my flowers.

Now that it’s cooler I may try and start some and move them outside. I am trying to phase out my old Aerogardens that use the bulbs.

Yes, once I've done a grow with the Bounty Basics from Woot to test them, I'll probably clean 'em out, box them back up for a while and use the old bulb gardens until plants don't thrive and the gardens become toast. Might as well.

Planted a Bounty full of Pansies today. Plan to move them outside once they have a good start. 🤞
I probably should pack up my new stuff and use my bulb gardens too. Doesn’t make sense to buy new bulbs on Ebay. The going price seems to be about $60 for 3 bulbs. I can buy a whole new garden for that price.

It sure is, LoveSalads. scarfguy has a lot of grows--melons, in particular--that he does with suspended grow lights.

I put that light in my Amazon cart. It definitely looks like it will work in place of the Aerogarden light. It’s also a lot more powerful that the lights on the Aerogardens. I will try it on my Ultra LED since the LED lights no longer work on that unit-again. Fixed them once but this is a tougher fix this time around. I hate to give up on that one since it’s the unit that has the strawberry bowl kit. I don’t think that bowl fits anything else I have.
