I decided to get myself a new Sprout (Black Friday $30 on Amazon) but what will I do for an Aerovoir alternative?
I’ve seen people here mention splitting the line to share an Aerovoir between two gardens. How do you do it?
Or, is there a different water reservoir that’s a similar size?
Also, what do you do about the algae growing in the line?
Thanks!

Thanks, I just ordered that kit. I plan to pair the new Sprout with my old Sprout, so there won’t be any problems with height difference. Looks like there might be enough tubing in the kit to replace the tubing on my other two Aerovoirs, as well.

I'm not sure how helpful this will be since you asked for something about the same size as an Aerovoir, but you can DIY one. I did it specifically to make a much BIGGER reservoir, because I wanted to go longer between refills and not worry about my gardens during long absences (up to 2 weeks at times). Anyways, this thread has a lot of info on it: aerogardenaddicts.com/thread/494/aerovoir-wateringThere are details about what I used and a brief description of how it works. The problem for some has been the 5-gallon bottle - it's heavy, and can be difficult to get into place without making a huge mess if you have trouble lifting it because you have to be able to move it into place fast enough to avoid splashing water everywhere. A 3-gallon bottle works just as well, is easier to manage weight-wise, and fits better into tight places. I use both 5 and 3 gallon bottles depending on how tight of an area I have to get them into.
