I need to get some more bleach. I want to totally immerse my Farm basins in bleach water prior to this restart. My sink is too small for that. So I will take them downstairs into the laundry room and use the deep sink. I'm not going to let any funk ruin this project! They will be cleaned to the gills! The Maya peppers are out. They are typically 3-foot tall. I had a hard time finding the height on those. Finding the width was easy, Jeez!

I actually wrote to two vendors asking if they can add heights to their descriptions. They said no . The reason being was "they ALL grow to no end in height" Well we know that is not true. I guess they can not be bothered. And with that, they lost my business.
mike, were you able to get the Farms cleaned to start planting?

Yes, but I still am a bit paranoid of getting that crud forming on the first use of the Farm.

I wonder if the Farm needs a more powerful pump or a larger one? Do you think if there were more circulation that it would not form? Maybe it is just from light getting in?

Perhaps, I have been thinking of adding stones in to help. That crud developed quickly, though. 3 or 4 days.

Mike did you happen to take a picture of what it looked like? If so can you PM me it. If not can you describe it to me. Thanks!

mike , I am currently speaking to AG regarding the "crud" issue. I sent them a picture as well. As I am speaking they said that it is Algae. I am awaiting a solution.
I will follow up in the PM. Then I will make a post in the AG How To's, Questions, Answers and More board.

This pepper does not want to terminated. New flowers and peppers are growing. However, one my new seeds come in and I decide what I will be growing, then this will be put to an end.
I am ready to start a new plant.

Machine is being sanitized for a new project to begin.
