You are going to really enjoy some lovely vegetables growing. $800 is a bit too pricey for me,though. I am limited to the 'Tall" single unit machines like the Bounty and Ultra. Please keep us updated on your projects..especially in photos..and tell us how you like the new model!.

Hi nick, where did you purchase yours through, AG? For Amazon the Farm Plus is new the regular Farm has been on there. AG might want to service their customers before Amazons so maybe that is the month or two wait? Just speculating.
Congrats on the purchse!

Preach girl! Too pricey for the average biped! Yikes! I could easily make a list I'd use the $$ for, before I'd spend $800 on one. I already think the regular Farm machine is insanity. However, if I ditch my husband and marry a millionaire that wants to lavish me with $$, (with a massive house or two), I might reconsider. I'm way too thrifty. Welcome Nick!

I picked up my Farm Plus via the official AeroGarden store because of the current sale price. I just happened to notice the new Farm Tall models on Amazon while I was browsing and thought I'd share. I hadn't seen them listed anywhere else yet.

I couldn’t find where they said how tall the hood goes in the “Tall” Farm.

The regular Farm, the hood only raised 12". The Farm Plus it raises 24". Both from the deck. Or is this a whole different unit?

Ok Here is what I found. The tall IS tall. Here are some measurements.
The Farm Plus: 36 x 12 x 34 inches
The Farm Tall: 12 x 36 x 45.5 inches
Totals 11.5" Taller. 2.5lb heavier. And the model number is different.
So one has to wonder.... Is there one coming out.

But too much money. It is cheaper to buy some grow lights and point to the sides of the garden. LOL

It does look expensive based on the price listed at Amazon but almost all of the AeroGarden models have inflated prices on Amazon. I bet we'll see it cheaper on the official site, especially with the sales they seem to do so regularly.
