I saw a post on AG/FB and thought I woud give it a go for a fall project. So today I broke the paradigm (toms, lettuce.peppers, flowers) and ordered some Golden Egg Squash to try in a Bounty after Labor Day.
Should be fun!

This does look interesting. I wonder if it'd be possible to grow sugar pumpkins...
Edit: I may try this with Burpee's Spookie variety...it's either this or strawberries. This seems more interesting.

I changed my mind about this project 1) don't want to drag my tripods with supplemental lighting into another room
2)using enough power as is ..every A/C is chugging away 3) don;t want the headache of hand pollinating the flowers 4) the root mass is going to be huge in the tank. And so ,if I have the patience to pollinate it will be a soil project on the sunporch..MAYBE
