In preparation for removing the bowl from my Ultra, I raised the hood. But the black rings around the rod are preventing me from removing the bowl.
Can you help?

LOL I am embarrassed to say this, but...I grasp the sides of the reservoir with both hands and lift, while at the same time using my forehead to push the hood and pole back about 1" to release it. (I know, I know......  )
