It appears from time to time some may have problems with connecting to Wi-Fi. If you have problems using Wi-Fi on your units, you can do one of two things...
1) Contact AG directly for their assistance
2) Search the forum using Wi-Fi and see if anyone posted a solution (to my recollection there is nothing listed, I can be incorrect however).

At first i spoke with customer service over WiFi issues. On the third call the person drafted an e mail to their IT person. Customer service told me she would let me know IT response. That was about 10 days ago and i have heard nothing. This is why I have given up on using WiFi.

Sorry you can not get it to work. Unfortunately those here that do have it worked it out with them. That is one topic I guess the forum cannot assist with.

The wifi has been working on both of my Farms with no issue so far. Those are the only two units I have with Wifi. I'm finding that i don't use the wifi for much at all though. I figure it's good to keep them connected anyway in case Aerogarden pushes out software updates. I'm not sure if they do that though.
One thing I just thought about is since I just ordered two more Farms because of the current sale, I'll probably use the wifi to raise the lights as needed since the LCD display will be higher than I can reach without my step stool. (i'm stacking them 3 high)

I have a Farm Plus and a Farm XL stacked, so I echo the sentiment of using WiFi and the app to monitor my top unit rather than having to stand on a chair to read the display!

Unless you are 7 feet tall I would say that is a good investment

I just wanted to see if anyone ever got the wifi issue resolved. I just set up my new Bounty elite yesterday. Got it hooked up and connected no prob. Then the wifi dropped. Now I can't get it past the spinning arrows when it is searching for available networks. My internet and wifi are working fine. Half my house runs off wifi. Lol. I did make sure my wifi is 2.4....sent an email to CS. Just thought I would also check on here. Didn't see any mention of this issue recently on here.

Are you using Andriod or iOS? Also can you possibly take a screen shot of the error or problem you are having.
Thanks

Make sure that you have good wi-fi signal strength where your Bounty is located. Lay a wi-fi tablet or phone right next to the Bounty and observe the wi-fi signal-strength indicator for a minute or so. You could also temporarily relocate the base of the Bounty (you don't need to take the water basin with you) to a location very close to your wi-fi router and see if it will connect there.

lilginger13 I ended up getting a single band WiFi Range Extender, and placing it closer to my Bounty. I've not had any issues since. My house WiFi is dual band and I think that may have been the issue. I live in the hills and internet service drops out, from time to time. I think when the Bounty tried to reconnect, the dual band created problems. My Molekule air filter has similar issues, so I've switched that over to the single band Extender too. I feel for you! I understand the frustration.

Signal strength is good. I put my iphone next to and everything looks fine. I was thinking about trying to move it and see what happens. Thanks!

I tried turning off the 5GHz to see if that helped but it didn't. Mine wont find ANY networks though. None of my neighbors come up either. It is the spinning blue arrows of death until it times out and goes back to the home screen.

I still opted for the Extender, since I already had it ordered. Keeping good thoughts for you!

I contacted AG support and they ended up sending a replacement base for my Aerogarden Bounty. The new base has the EXACT same issue where it says "Sorry, could not connect to the access point" BUT Google Wifi shows me that the device is connected. Upon looking into it, it looks like the Aerogarden's make reference to app3.aerogarden.com:8443/ (which had some SSL issues a couple months ago) but now I am not sure why it is not connecting. There was a period where it worked for a day recently but then it went back to saying "cannot connect to wifi". I have two Bounty's (one Elite, one normal one) and they both have the exact same problem.

bijan, there is a newer thread about the wifi connection problems HERE. However, you seem to have gotten farther than the rest of us at identifying the source of the issue. What is weird, is that my AGs that lost their connections due to AG server issues have all come back online or reconnect if unpluggeg/replugged; while you and Shawn can't connect no matter what.

Not sure why Aerogarden was gaslighting me and telling me it may have been an issue on my end.
Happier to hear it's a common problem, but sad to hear it's still a problem.
