Replacement pump for Harvest

I was just putting my pump back together again after what must’ve been a ferocious cleaning because it’s missing the piece where you can dial the level of air. It works, but is noisy because the parts are loose without that one component. Must remember to go easier with the scrub brush.

So I need a new pump. But in looking at the AG website it looks like the pump is the same for the Harvest as the others. Except the Harvest has a shorter tube on top, but the tube doesn’t appear to come with it. If I have a pump on hand I’m wondering if I can swap them out. If I can find it...also, I’ve never swapped out the black tube on top, to my knowledge. I hope it’s not difficult.  Has anyone done this?

I would try it. The black tube on top are you talking about the one the water comes out of that you see under the deck? If so you just twist and pull a little off. Assuming we're both talking about the same thing LOL

Yes!  That’s the thing I’m talking about. Ok, I’m glad to hear it’s easy to remove. I will rummage in my cabinet for one.

Darn it - I just remembered that the ends of the plugs are different (connecting pump to AG unit). I’m only going by memory, but since I bought my pumps so long ago (before the Harvest existed) I think they’re not going to be compatible.  [sigh]

Ok, the deed is done.  Placed a new order with stuff I don’t need, to avoid shipping cost.

I thought they were the same.  The Harvest plugs in the same way, dosen't it?  Hmmmm. Ok I will have to take a look myself and get a pump or two to keep on hand.  So they are not the same as the large machines?  Or are they?

Yes the Harvest does use the same pump as the Bounty, Ultra and Extra.  (I just cheated and looked at their site)  I have one spare but will pick up another one,

Oh!!! I didn’t check, just remembered incorrectly.  Well, I have an unnecessary order coming now. But I did get 20% off for their Labor Day sale, so that’s good.  And I will use it all at some point in the probably far away future, I just don’t want to store it all so long. (One day later and I can’t even remember what I ordered aside from the pump, lol.)
