I planted over 20 sugar snap peas and have only 3 that have sprouted. In contrast to my AG sprouted snow peas, these aren’t popping up all quick, uniform and happy. I bought them from the same vendor at the same time. I think AG seed starters are a great thing, and I think I have to return to them. I don’t know, maybe I’m wrong owing to the different type of seeds. Also, I’ve never direct sown before this month.

You’ve grown Prevails in the AG too, right? Is it the direct sowing that is making it take longer?

Yes. Seems so, Mary. I believe that is the reason they came up with the garden Starter...faster germination.

So I finally got a number of pea plants to come up. On one side. I think a critter plucked out the other side as they came up. Or they didn’t come up at all. I will need to stake these soon.
