Battle of the Brands
Growing: Sweet Heats Machine: Bounty w/ WiFi Started: 10/8/18 Nutes: Starting with AG Nutes. Will either add Mooch or shift to the GH Flora Series if I'm feeling brave and can figure it out...
Summary: Growing in this machine are Sweet Heats from three different vendors, inspired by the Duo Thread by Shawn . We have Park and Burpee (thank you, Shawn!) to see how they compare to each other here as well as in Shawn's thread. I will also be growing Reimer's Sweet Heats. I also want to see how three plants do in the machine.

Front Left: Burpee. Front Right: Reimer. Back Center: Park.
*All views mentioned are when facing the machine.

They have slowed their roll, so to speak, but they are coming up the sponge at their own pace. Hopefully they break above soon.

Quick update: Park is the first out. I had shuffled pods around to hopefully jumpstart growth a bit. Re-shuffled after taking this photo. Once all domes are removed I will put all plants back in their places.

Removed the dome from Park, Burpee is the next to poke a leaf above the label. Shuffled pods around again.
Reimer is close to doing the same, probably tomorrow or the next day.

Right now it’s Park on left, Reimer in the middle and Burpee on right. Once the last dome comes off I’ll be putting them back in their proper places.

I find Park's germinates faster then other seeds.

That's exactly what happened. Park came up first, then Burpee and Reimer took up the rear. I expect the last dome to come off tomorrow or Thursday. Having seen Kate 's thread with her Reimer, I wonder how it will compare side by side to Burpee and Park in this Battle.

I would be willing to bet they all get their seeds from a central vendor and just create the packets with their logo.

I would not be surprised if that's the case

I had planted 3 seeds per pod. Two came up in Park and Reimer and all three came up in Burpee. Clipped the runt of the three and will wait a little longer before thinning the remaining plants to one per pod.

Clipped the plants down to 1 per pod.

Note to self: plant some lettuces or something in the empty Sprout, or move the Strawberry Spinach there.
