The doctor's given me the go ahead to start rehab on my legs. I hope that means more energy soon.
Regardless, I ordered some new seeds today. All varieties I haven't grown before. Peppers, Eggplant and Pac Choi.

I'm still checking in. That won't change. I thought December for a restart, before. Now I hope for later this month.

Probably December. No energy so far. It was a major effort just getting in to vote, yesterday.

I ditto Shawn in saying you are missed TREMENDOUSLY,Mike. One thing I learned this year..don;t try and force the body to do more than it can..take it easy and let it heal properly. Eventually you will be in tip top shape!!

The problem is, I had a co-worker suggest I get handicapped tags on my car to make things easier, today. I'm getting more and more suggestions like this from others.
If I give in to that, then what exercise do I get? I want to exercise more, but my back is giving me so much grief when I walk. My friends only mean well.

Mike, I do have Handicapped plates. In the beginning when I could not walk more then 5 minutes in a shot I used it all the time. Now I only use them IF I need to. It has been very helpful even now when I have nerve pain or if my back is hurting really back. So if you decide to get them you, if you are feeling good then you can park in a normal spot. When having a bad day you park in the assigned zone.

I know it can be a slippery slope. For me (when I had the plates), it came down to a combination of as Shawn suggested just using when you need, and then trying to get some other exercise in to make up for the difference (when I felt I could handle it).

Well, I have to get three more leg treatments. I had the month follow up today. I told them I needed to get it done by the end of the year.
Meanwhile, I am really going to get back into photography. I bought a smaller mirror-less alternative to my SLR. It came with an 18-150mm Zoom Lens. I also bought a 28mm Lighted Macro Lens and a 11-22mm Wide Angle Zoom. Plus, an adapter so I can use my Canon Pro lenses.
I need to sanitize the Farm. That will be what I start first. I've cleaned it twice with Dawn. But I never did figure out what caused the algae growth on the first grow.

I am thrilled to hear that you are progressing! As for the Farm, were you the AG-er who covered the watering triangle on the deck to see i that was the cause?

Yes, that helped. But it happened pretty fast. Next time I will start after bleaching it to the gills. Then I will give it three or four rinse cycles.

Wonderful news that you only have three more treatments. Have you found they helped? How are you walking? I hope before too long you are in tip top shape.
Mark was into photography as well at one point. Has a really nice camera but lost interest a few years ago. He still takes pictures here and there but really does not have the time to do like he did with how busy work is. I am looking forward to seeing the ones you do take.
Lastly, Can't wait to see what you start to grow. Just be careful while cleaning and rinsing the farm. You need to take care of you first!

My pocket camera was toast after it got wet this summer. I've been using my SLR since. But the SLR is just too heavy. I just replaced it with a new Canon EOS M5, a mirror-less camera that came with an 18-150mm zoom lens with image stabilization. The camera and lens weigh 1.8 lbs. I'm going to have fun with this.

Nice! That M5 is a sweet bit of kit.
