A shipping update from Aerogarden now that I have a tracking number. It is only 1.1 pounds so not the nutrients ufffffffffff . Either the Aerovoir or the water port covers the CS rep said they were going to send me. I guess multiple shipments. Back to waiting........................... Did the shipping update come in your email or does it show on the Aerogarden site? The Email was triggered by UPS. When I drilled down in the shipping info is where I read what the weight of the package was. The first Email was just an announcement of the shipment and when to approximately expect it no tracking info yet available. If you look It just said a label was created. |

I made three orders and none have shipped yet. No big deal since I don't "need" any of it, but I hope the orders don't get canceled.

I finally got an email from UPS that a label was created. The package only weighs 2.8 lbs so definitely not my Bounty’s from my 2nd order. It has to be my first order of 4 items I bought with 30% off. A trellis, seed starter for Bounty, covers and a pump. I guess I will know Thursday which is the delivery date.
Fingers crossed my 2 Bounty Elites ship!

When one hears about all these shipping issues, one has to wonder if anyone at Aerogarden ever thought about it and said, "Hey, guys. At what point did our customer service go down the crapper? Golly, do you think we should do something about it?"
And if someone had done so, would the corporate suits have listened and would AG still be in business?
I bought 4 Bounties, 4 50-count Grow-Anything pod kits, and a couple of pumps, all from either Amazon or Woot (which appears to be just another way to spell 'Amazon'), and everything is safely here and stashed away. No discount on the Grow-A. kits, but the discounts on the Bounties were most bodacious, and pumps are always cheap from anyone other than AG.

In Aerogarden's defense, I believe they were simply overwhelmed by the sheer number of orders last week. Someone wrote that they spoke with customer service and even the AG employees were broadsided by the quitting business announcement. Like many of you, I have bought a LOT of stuff from Aerogarden in the past and I don't recall ever having a poor experience. I believe that they are probably doing the best they can under the circumstances and I hate that they are shutting down their operation.
They were the first and the best. |

I really, really, really want the Harvest XL's that I ordered. They aren't available on Amazon anymore, so I figure if they don't ship, I will never have a chance to get another one......  |

Persevering to get a real person in chat is a pain in the ass but it is often quite worth the effort. Edited to add -- I see that while I was typing this you were able to exchange it. Way to go. |

Thanks for the advice. I probably would have tried that had I not already issued the exchange - it shows my new Sprout will arrive tomorrow. My husband is the guy that can get nearly anything free/discounted/resolved via a telephone conversation. He has one of those patient, calm, soothing voices. I do not. I'm impatient, stubborn and sarcastic when I am stressed .... so I let him do phone conversations. This, as an example, is how he always gets our satellite bill knocked down by 30% every year. It's funny, this is the second time you've said something that is actually true in my house. We had a Samsung TV give up the "magic smoke" with a loud POP one day. It was still under warranty so they sent someone to fix it. The repair guy, brought a new replacement TV and said "not worth the time to fix it, but I can give you the part if you want to do it yourself". That broken (and easily fixed) 42" TV is one of my husband's monitors. He works from home, and is a software engineer, so he actually has four screens. |

Too bad you had to send it back, because you know that at this point, it's going straight to the trash. And Sprout pumps are 15 bucks, and they come with 5 filters. The filters alone would have cost 29.95 from AG. I'm always the designated hitter, although not always the calm voice of reason. Sometimes you play good cop, and sometimes you play bad cop, and the trick is know which to do when. One of my favorite approaches -- "So is this the gold standard of customer service <insert company name here> aspires to?" I have actually had to use it with AG when my 'expedited shipping' sat in the warehouse in Mexico, Missouri, for several days. By the end of the day, it was on its way, and they threw some extra seed kits in the box that more than exceeded the expedited shipping charge. Nice, but it should never have gotten to that point. I love playing 'Customer Service.' |

I got a shipping notice for my Fall30 AG order, so hopefully all is well.
I did notice today that the AHopeGarden 12-pod units are on sale on Amazon, I'm half tempted. Though I think I'd prefer the transparent bowl so I could see the water level easier, and that's not discounted very much. Probably I'll wait. I really do have enough garden units.

I'm still trying to decide if I should buy another one.... $41 isn't too bad. But do I need three Sprouts? Not sure. Especially if the three Harvest XL's and one Bounty that I ordered ever show up. |

I'm so happy for you all that are getting your orders. I really hope one, or both, of mine ship soon. I was soooo hoping the transparent bowl one went on sale. I really like mine. It's great for lettuce. I watched so closely for it, but it never happened. I think I only paid $45 for mine last Prime day, so I don't want to pay anywhere near full price for another one. I saw that the black one was on sale today and was tempted. . . but I'll wait for the transparent one to go on sale again. |

I got a shipping notice on friday also and mine is also not indicating it has been picked up yet.

But do I need three Sprouts? Everybody needs three Sprouts --  Two were taken out of action just about a month ago when I lost a shelf space to Yogi's crate, but they will be back. The third one is the emergency reserve Sprout. If I can squeeze out the space, I may set one or two up and see it I can get chives to sprout in them. |

I got a shipping notice on friday also and mine is also not indicating it has been picked up yet.
My order was finally picked up by UPS!! It’s arriving Thursday! |
