OK - so what's everone's strategy re: Aerogarden shutdown ??

This is kind of strange.   One of my orders has shipped and has an ETA of Friday.  This is the order that I was notified had some "out of stock" items and they credited me for them.   When I look on the AG website, ALL items say "shipped."      So I don't know what I'm getting at this point.  Guess I'll find out in a few days.

I just received an email that my first order (the 30% off) is "on its way" with a tracking number; their tracking link never seems to work for me.  It was for a Sprout replacement pump, grow sponges, nutrients and replacement filters. 

I also bought two boxes of filters on Prime day, so I think I'm set with filters for the foreseeable future.  I always sterilize them and reuse them, but you never know.

I'm really hoping the second order ships.  That is a much bigger order!

As for your shipping, well . . Things get a bit slow in Mexico, Missouri, in October. You got the Octoberfest coming up right after the Ukulele Festival at Hickory Ridge Orchard, and folks are just plain tuckered out.

That, and UPS only goes to Mexico on even-numbered Wednesdays.

(Articles from the Mexico Ledger, which is a pretty decent local paper with lots of local sports coverage because that's about all that's going on, except for Octoberfest and the Ukulele Festival.)

Two were taken out of action just about a month ago when I lost a shelf space to Yogi's crate, but they will be back.

The third one is the emergency reserve Sprout. 

If I can squeeze out the space, I may set one or two up and see it I can get chives to sprout in them.

I need to see a psychiatrist about my "FOMO."  This going-out-of-business thing has fueled my addiction.   I ordered one more Bounty Basic from Woot a few days ago and today I ordered a Bounty Elite from Amazon.   The Elite is on sale for $162 and I had rewards $$ that reduced it to $123 so how could I pass that up???  

I am slowly but surely taking all my Harvest models out of service and replacing them with Bounty models.  

I also ordered some more of the plastic algae covers (that replace paper stickers) from an Etsy seller.   I have ordered these before and like to use them since they are washable and reusable.

I hope I get that second order email soon.  I hadn't received any "out of stock" notices from them, so fingers crossed it's a complete order.

I have actual tracking status for my first order, which was extra pod baskets, spacers, and one more trellis. Nothing exciting, but things that will be useful.

Nothing yet on fulfillment or shipping the AG Harvest Elite 360 I ordered, sigh... 
Nothing from Woot.com on my Bounty Basics either.

Time to go do some more work on garden room cleanup downstairs!

That's awesome. I received my Farm water port covers from Customer Service but no indication that my order is even in the Que. I emailed them yesterday and the standard reply was received.

We are experiencing slight order delays as we received a large influx of orders upon announcing our company closure. We are showing that order number AG_xxxxxxxxx is processing for shipment at this time. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking information.

I had my first order show up today.  There was a huge hole in the box; two liters of nutrients thrown in a box with two packs of sponges, a Sprout filter and a box of filters (which don't fit the pump).  I really hope the pump wasn't damaged.  No paper or packing material inside.  Some of the sponges were crushed.  Lovely packaging.

Fingers crossed they package my three Harvest XL's and Bounty better, and NOT with the six liters of nutrients and various other items I ordered.

Do we know if these orders are being filled by the original staff?  

I'm starting to wonder if they fired all the employees and brought in a bunch of "liquidators" to close down the business?

They did that with my local pharmacy. The staff was all terminated and a group of people that specialize in closing stores and liquidating inventory was brought in.  That way they don't have to deal with disgruntled employeees.

Back at the start of the year, AG fulfillment was being handled by a 3rd party distributor in Mexico. Mexico, Missouri, that is.

Those of you who have received your shipments might check the return address on the shipping label.

See if it says it's from Mexico, Missouri.

Everything I've ordered from Aerogarden.com in the past couple of years has shipped from Mexico MO.  I always get a kick out of that.  Seeing "Mexico" on the UPS notification made me do a double-take at first.  I haven't had any issues with shipping that I recall. 

My Bounty from Woot has finally shipped; it took as long as the AG orders to ship and they don't have the "going out of business" excuse.  I hope they put the Bounty box in a cardboard box this time.   Last one I got from them had the box all trashed and mounds of tape applied to hold it together.   Thankfully the machine did not appear to have damage. 

Also got shipping notice on the Bounty Elite coming from the Amazon sale; it will be here on Sunday.   That should wrap up my "FOMO" insanity.

The tracking for my Woot loot says it's currently up the road in Lenexa, Kansas, about 30 miles from my house.

Delivery date is scheduled for next Monday, much sooner that the original projection of October 27.

I've got Woot shipment notices for my Bounty Basics! 

My Fall30 AG accessory order should arrive tomorrow according to tracking. Just grow baskets, extra set of spacers (which, after grabbing the Basics, I'm very glad I ordered!), and an extra trellis system. 

Nothing on my Fall30 Harvest Elite 360 yet though.

UPS brought me 4 boxes a Thursday! 2 are my Bounty Elites. Haven’t been able to open them yet since I hurt my shoulder on Wednesday! Going to attempt it today and make sure everything is there! I am hoping the other 2 boxes are my Fall30 order and the rest of my 60 off order.
