These seeds came from Burpee with a sell by date of 11/2021. I'm growing them on the left side of my Farm XL. I currently have four pods in the center of the garden. I will only grow two of them. The Real Deal Hybrid is supposed to taste like a Habanero pepper with Cayenne heat. This will be my first grow of these, too. Added 16 ml nutes. www.burpee.com/pepper-hot-real-deal-hybrid-prod500740.html

Three of these are definitely showing signs of germination.

I hope so. I need to make fresh sauce. Next week, I will receive new Purple Jalapeno and Aji Lemon seeds. I will replant the Purples right away. The Aji Lemons only germinated two pods. And I damaged one of the cotyledons trying to remove the seed. I may start moving the smaller seedlings to Bounties (If I can find space for the Bounties). The Real Deal are my first choice for a Bounty.
For the sweet peppers, I think I will try three plants on Farms for the Yummy and Sweet Jalapeno. If I do that, I may combine the remaining seedlings on an Ultra.

I thinned these down to one plant per pod today. I kept all four plants, for now. That will be reduced to two or three in two weeks or so. I also moved the plants to the outside left, right, front and back for spacing. The front will probably be removed. I may combine extras on Bounties.

This pepper is going to be a large pepper. 2-3 inches in diameter. This pepper really intrigues me because it has habanero taste without the blistering heat. It is supposed to have cayenne heat. That being the case, I love habanero flavor. I want a sauce I don't have to dilute to get that flavor. I decided to terminate the purple jalapenos to use both sides of the Farm XL to grow the Real Deal Hybrid. They are coming in nicely.

It sounds like a good idea, especially since the others are iffy in air conditioning.
The plants look neat and nicely shaped so far.

Originally, I was going to move extra plants to Bounties. But I don't have space. And I just don't want to. What I have going is plenty to keep me busy.

I know that feeling Mike. I want to care for those I have without ignoring or putting others at risk.

I'm not sure this is good. The leaves are turning purple. This could mean a lack of phosphorus. But I'm not sure. Phosphorus is usually in most bloom nutrients. It should already be in the AG nutrient I use. These are due nutrients on Monday. They are also due their first application of Mooch. We'll see.
