The plant has been turned since the last picture. But you can see the red ones are still ripening. The tip of the green one is starting. I also pollinated several flowers as well.  |

This morning I picked the three red peppers on the plant. Lots of new ones growing now. These are on a dinner plate. The longest one is at 6-1/2". I planned on using them in dinner tonight. I went into the kitchen just now and only saw one on the plate. I knew Proxy did not get them as she can not jump on the counter. I called Mark and he told me he put them in with his lunch that I made him. He said if I do not want him eating them, not to cut off the plant until he has gone to work.  Oh well no more cutting them if I want to use them in a meal unless Mark is not home to steal I mean take/eat them. Well as least I took a picture of them right after picked.  |

I trimmed out a lot of old dark leaves a few days ago. This morning I took another look and it is filled with a ton of new buds, flowers and peppers.

From yesterday morning. Just waiting for these to turn. This morning I noticed more flowers, buds and peppers forming.
These peppers are heavy in weight which is nice. But I am also propping the branches up a tad leaning on the hood bar and side walls.

I trimmed some old looking leaves off and this morning there are a lot of new buds forming. I am waiting for all these green peppers to change colors.

Big Jim has been put to rest today. The peppers were taking forever to change colors. I removed 22 long thick peppers from the plant. These have been sliced and are awaiting to be used in dinner tonight.
As soon as my Jalapeno is done, that will be ended as well. I am ready to use this machine for a new pepper project.
THis was a great project with great tasting peppers and did produce a lot for me!
